At Jenny Palmer Therapy, I offer a free initial 15-minute consultation to discuss your concerns and see if therapy is a good fit for you. You don't need a diagnosis or to be in crisis — sometimes, just having a space to talk can make a real difference.

You can expect: A welcoming, supportive environment where you can speak freely; Collaborative conversations – therapy is a two-way process where we work together on your goals; Guided reflections to help you notice patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours; Practical tools and techniques (particularly in CBT) that you can apply outside of sessions; If we’re using EMDR, sessions will include gentle, structured processing of distressing memories; In Couples Therapy, we’ll explore your relationship dynamics together to improve understanding, connection, and communication. You’re not expected to have all the answers — just a willingness to begin the conversation.

Each therapy session at Jenny Palmer Therapy lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. CBT sessions typically run for 60 minutes, while EMDR and Couples Therapy can extend from 60 to 90 minutes. Our sessions are structured yet flexible, allowing you the time to reflect, explore, and make meaningful progress at your own pace.

At Jenny Palmer Therapy, I accept self-funding clients and direct payments from insurance providers like Bupa, AXA, WPA, and AVIVA. Please check if I'm covered by a provider not listed. Payment options include bank transfer (details provided upon booking) and secure online payment (for remote sessions). All payments are due 24 hours before your appointment. If you have questions about payment or need support with receipts for reimbursement, feel free to get in touch.
